In the past, wet marine salvage operations were generally two-dimensional, often executed in limited visibility with considerable reliance on feedback from divers on what they had found, or what they had found.

Hydrographic data can now be incorporated into underwater projects in non-traditional ways to verify assumptions, improve safety, maximise productivity and provide valuable real-time monitoring data to the project managers and Clients.
