Groundings & Strandings
Grounding or stranding is probably the most common of maritime casualties.
Salvors must obtain the best information possible, estimate the unobtainable, develop a salvage plan and refloat the ship without delay.
There are many methods to refloat ships but no single one is correct for every situation. There is no magic formula.
Salvors are limited only by their knowledge, experience and imagination.
Over the past 28 years, we have been involved with almost 100 grounded vessels ranging in size from fishing vessels to VLCCs.
